First steps

The first step to build a model is to define the application goal, temporal and spatial scale of the model, land use classes and spatial determining factors. This phase includes the selection of data sources and organization of a Terralib Cellular Space (Camara, 2005). More information about cellular spaces: “Documentation and Examples“.

Then based on the application needs, you have to select the most adequate Potential, Allocation and Demand Components and define the model itself listing these choices in a single file, providing the correct parameters for each component. (See: “model setup” and “Documentation and Examples“). Finally you can run your models and analyse the outputs.
